Workplace Policy

At Kaushik Films & Entertainment Company (KFAEC), we are committed to fostering a professional, respectful, inclusive, and secure work environment for all employees, interns, freelancers, artists, and collaborators. This Workplace Policy establishes the standards of conduct, responsibilities, and operational guidelines required to maintain a positive and productive culture across all departments, including virtual and on-site roles.

1. Professional Conduct

All team members are expected to maintain professionalism, integrity, and mutual respect in every interaction. Respectful communication is mandatory across emails, messages, calls, meetings, and workplace discussions. Harassment, discrimination, abusive language, misconduct, or disrespectful behavior of any kind will not be tolerated within the organization.

2. Equal Opportunity & Non-Discrimination

KFAEC is an equal opportunity organization committed to maintaining a fair and inclusive workplace. The company does not discriminate on the basis of gender, age, religion, caste, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or personal beliefs. Every individual associated with the organization must be treated with fairness, dignity, and equal respect.

3. Attendance & Work Expectations

Employees, interns, and collaborators are required to adhere to assigned schedules, deadlines, and weekly work requirements. Interns and team members must complete assigned tasks within the specified timelines and maintain regular communication with reporting managers. Repeated delays, unresponsiveness, lack of participation, or failure to meet expectations may result in disciplinary action or removal from the internship, project, or employment.

4. Confidentiality

All individuals associated with KFAEC are required to maintain strict confidentiality regarding company operations and sensitive information, including internal documents, unreleased projects, scripts, creative concepts, client information, business strategies, and other confidential materials. Sharing or disclosing internal information publicly or with unauthorized third parties without written approval is strictly prohibited.

5. Use of Company Assets

Company resources, including documents, software access, credentials, communication platforms, digital assets, and official systems, must be used strictly for authorized work purposes only. Unauthorized sharing of login credentials, misuse of company platforms, or improper use of company resources may lead to disciplinary or legal action.

6. Workplace Communication

Professional and respectful communication is expected at all times. Team members must avoid offensive language, personal attacks, arguments, disruptive behavior, or unprofessional conduct in any work-related interaction. In situations involving conflict or misunderstandings, concerns should be reported to the reporting manager or company authority instead of engaging in disputes.

7. Anti-Harassment Policy

KFAEC maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy against all forms of harassment, including sexual harassment, bullying, verbal abuse, physical harassment, online harassment, intimidation, threats, or any abusive conduct. Any verified complaint involving harassment or misconduct will result in immediate disciplinary action as deemed appropriate by the company.

8. Remote Work & Virtual Internship Guidelines

As many roles and internships at KFAEC operate virtually, all remote team members are required to maintain a stable internet connection and access to a personal laptop or suitable working device. Team members must remain available during scheduled work hours, meetings, or official communication timings. All tasks, reports, and submissions must be shared only through approved official communication channels.

9. Data Protection & Privacy

All employees, interns, and collaborators must follow KFAEC’s data protection and privacy standards. Confidential company files, data, or documents must not be downloaded, stored, copied, uploaded, or shared without authorization. Uploading internal company materials to public platforms or unauthorized third-party systems is strictly prohibited. Every team member is expected to comply with the company’s Privacy Policy and data security practices.

10. Performance & Evaluation

Work quality, professionalism, consistency, creativity, communication, and task completion will be regularly evaluated by the company. Interns and team members may become eligible for certificates, Letters of Recommendation (LORs), stipends, project opportunities, or full-time roles based on successful completion of assigned responsibilities and satisfactory performance. Poor performance, lack of professionalism, or non-participation may result in termination of the internship or employment.

11. Disciplinary Action

Violation of company policies, misconduct, breach of confidentiality, or unprofessional behavior may result in disciplinary measures including warnings, suspension from projects, termination of internship or employment, restriction of company access, or legal action where applicable. All disciplinary decisions shall be made at the sole discretion of the company based on the severity of the violation.

12. Acceptance of Policy

By working, interning, collaborating, or engaging with KFAEC PRIVATE LIMITED, every individual acknowledges and agrees to comply with this Workplace Policy as part of the organization’s Terms & Conditions and professional standards.
